Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Due to expansion, we’re growing again…

Bluebird Care Oldham & Tameside is looking for an exceptional Deputy Registered Manager or Senior Care Coordinator to join our growing leadership team.

We’re not looking for someone who simply wants another job. We’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about people, takes pride in delivering outstanding care and wants to help shape one of the region’s leading home care services.

Over the past 19 months we’ve built something we’re incredibly proud of. We’ve grown quickly, expanded into a second territory and continue to invest in our people, our clients and our community. Now we’re looking for another experienced professional who wants to be part of the next chapter.

Who are we?

We believe outstanding care starts by looking after our team just as well as we look after our customers. We don’t cut corners, we don’t settle for average and we don’t believe care should ever become just another task.

Our mission is simple: to provide premium, person-centred care that allows people to remain safely and happily in the place they love most… home.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for either an experienced Deputy Registered Manager or an accomplished Senior Care Coordinator who is ready to take the next step in their career.

You’ll work alongside our experienced leadership team, supporting the day-to-day operation of our service while helping us continue to deliver the exceptional standards we’re becoming known for.

You’ll play a key role in areas including:

  • Care planning and quality assurance
  • Coordinating care packages and supporting our scheduling team
  • Leading, mentoring and developing our care professionals
  • Building strong relationships with clients, families and healthcare professionals
  • Maintaining compliance and helping us strive for an Outstanding CQC rating
  • Identifying opportunities to continually improve the service we provide

What we’re looking for

Experience matters.

We’re looking for someone who has already worked within domiciliary care and understands what great looks like. Someone who remains calm under pressure, enjoys solving problems and genuinely loves leading people.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience as a Deputy Registered Manager, Care Coordinator or Senior Care Coordinator within domiciliary care
  • A Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification or above (preferred)
  • A full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A positive, solutions-focused attitude
  • A passion for delivering truly person-centred care

Most importantly, you’ll share our values. Skills can be developed. Character, compassion and integrity are what make exceptional leaders.

Why join Bluebird Care Oldham & Tameside?

You’ll be joining a business that genuinely invests in its people.

We’re ambitious without losing sight of why we do what we do. We celebrate success, support one another through challenges and work hard to create a workplace where people enjoy coming to work every day.

If you’re looking for somewhere you can grow, influence the future of an expanding service and make a real difference to people’s lives, we’d love to hear from you.

Come and help us raise the standard of home care across Oldham and Tameside.
