We are recruiting a full-time Customer Care Manager to join the Bluebird Oxford team who will help deliver the gold standard of care to our discerning customers across our area. You’ll be expected to travel within our territory for spot checks and customer assessments. We’re looking for an outgoing and empathic individual with excellent communication skills who enjoys empowering and supporting others. As our Customer Care Manager, you’ll be ensuring an exceptional experience for our customers and their family members and advocates as well as for our Care Assistants. You will conduct pre-assessments for new customers, ensuring their care plan and all associated risk assessments are perfectly tailored to their needs.

Salary: £28,500 per annum

Location: Oxford

Contract type: Care Management

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Registered Manager & deputy manager with the efficient running of the care support team.
  • Ensure safe, effective, high quality care that responds to each customer’s needs and preferences.
  • Make sure our services respect customers’ choices and promote their dignity and privacy at all times.
  • Support business growth by networking with health care professionals to create packages of care for vulnerable adults within their own homes.
  • Care planning, risk assessments and ongoing reviews of current care package.
  • Guiding and supporting Care Experts.
  • Work effectively with customers, their families and representatives, other social and health care professionals and managers and staff from Bluebird Care to deliver high quality care services.

Requirements:

  • A social care qualification (Level 3 or willingness to work toward it)
  • Experience in domiciliary and social care management
  • Must live within a 5-mile radius from the centre of West Oxfordshire
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle for work purposes – must be Business insured.
  • Great leadership, communication, and organisation skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and manage on-call where needed
