Care Assistant

Location: Islington and Hackney (N1, EC1, N7, N19, N4, N5, N16, E5, E8, E9). Must be resident in one of these postcode areas.

Salary: £13.65–£20.48 per hour. Enhanced bank holiday rate. Up to 28 days paid holiday per year (pro rata). Pension scheme.

Responsibilities

  • Provide person‑centered care to individuals in their own homes
  • Support with personal care
  • Provide companionship
  • Prompt and/or administer medication
  • Support with food preparation, domestic duties, and shopping
  • Assist with manual handling using equipment where required

Requirements

  • Valid right to work in the UK and currently living in Islington or Hackney
  • Over the age of 18
  • Genuine desire to care for others
  • Reliable, compassionate, honest, and patient
  • Availability to work more than 20 hours per week
  • Flexible working times, early mornings from 7 am and/or evenings to 10 pm may be part of the schedule
  • Alternate weekends (including both Saturday and Sunday)
  • Previous care experience is desirable
  • Weekend‑only work is also currently available
