Key Responsibilities
- Support, mentor and supervise Care Assistants in the community.
- Conduct spot checks, observations, customer assessments and reviews.
- Complete and update care plans and risk assessments.
- Monitor care quality and ensure compliance with CQC standards.
- Support customers, families and healthcare professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
- Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
- Participate in the on-call rota and respond to urgent care issues when required.
- Assist with care visits where needed to ensure continuity of service.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (or willingness to work towards it)
- Experience in domiciliary care
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Good understanding of safeguarding and person-centred care
Desirable
- Previous supervisory experience
- Experience completing care assessments and reviews
- Knowledge of CQC regulations
- Working towards or holding a Level 3 qualification
