Bluebird Care Coleraine is seeking an organised and proactive Care Co-ordinator to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is a fast-paced, people-focused role where you'll coordinate care delivery, manage rotas, and support both customers and care staff.

Your role as Care Co-ordinator:
You'll be responsible for ensuring safe, effective, and person-centred care delivery across our service. This includes coordinating care schedules, supporting staff, and working closely with customers and healthcare professionals.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee delivery of domiciliary care services
- Plan and manage staff rotas to ensure full coverage of care calls
- Adjust schedules to respond to sickness, holidays, and emergencies
- Liaise with the Registered Manager on recruitment and staffing needs
- Maintain accurate care records (digital and manual systems)
- Communicate with customers, families, and healthcare professionals
- Monitor service quality and report incidents, concerns, and updates
- Support general office administration and reporting
What we're looking for:
- Experience in a care co-ordinator, scheduler, or similar role (preferred)
- Background in health & social care or domiciliary care (desirable)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident IT skills (experience with PASS system advantageous)
- Flexible approach to work, including participation in on-call rota
