Bluebird Care Coleraine is recruiting Care Assistants to support people in their own homes across Ballymena, Ballymoney and Coleraine. Whether you're experienced or new to care, we provide full paid training and ongoing support to help you succeed.
What you'll get:
- £12.90 - £13.80 per hour (increases with service)
- Paid travel time between calls
- Mileage allowance (35p per mile)

Your role as a Care Assistant:
You will support customers to live independently in their own homes, delivering high-quality, person-centred care. This is a rewarding role where you will build meaningful relationships and make a genuine impact every day.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, grooming)
- Support with medication and daily routines
- Assist with meal preparation and nutrition
- Help with light housekeeping and household tasks
- Support social activities and companionship
- Monitor and report changes in customers' wellbeing
- Maintain accurate care records
What we're looking for:
- Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable car (essential)
- Compassionate, reliable and patient nature
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and complete training
- Right to work in the UK
No previous care experience is required; we'll give you all the training and support you need.
Additional requirements:
- Willingness to complete an Enhanced Access NI check
- Registration with NISCC (Northern Ireland Social Care Council)
