What we do: We are committed to keeping elderly and vulnerable people living in the comfort of their own homes, as an alternative to residential care. As a live-in care assistant, you would provide an unrivalled level of care and support by living with our customer in their home for a defined period of time. You would therefore be entitled to regular breaks, both during your working days and to take time off.
Responsibilities of a live-in care assistant:
- Live in our customer’s home for a defined period of time
- Personal care duties
- Administering medication
- Manual handling, using equipment where required
- Promoting customer health and wellbeing
- Companionship and help with activities/appointments
- Plan, prepare and cook nutritious meals
- Shopping and domestic tasks around the home
To become a live-in care assistant, you need:
- Right to work in the UK (unfortunately we cannot provide sponsorship)
- No experience as full training is provided
- Excellent level of English
- To be aged 18+
- A driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable, but not essential
