Responsibilities of a live‑in care assistant
- Live in the customer\’s home for a defined period of time
- Provide personal care duties
- Administer medication
- Manual handling, using equipment where required
- Promote customer health and wellbeing
- Companionship and help with activities/appointments
- Plan, prepare and cook nutritious meals
- Shopping and domestic tasks around the home
To become a live‑in care assistant you need
- Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not provided)
- No experience required; full training is providedExcellent level of English
- Age 18 or older
- A driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable but not essential
