£28,000-£32,000 Basic Salary | OTE £70,000 | Full-Time | Permanent | Office-Based
At Blueberry Specialist Lending, we're looking for an experienced, commercially driven Mortgage Adviser to join our growing team.
We are a Whole-of-Market mortgage brokerage, based in Poundbury, servicing the whole of the UK. We are a specialist firm who doesn't just deal with high-street lending, we handle complex lending scenarios.
We are looking for someone who understands the mortgage market and is looking for an opportunity to develop their specialist lending knowledge.
What you'll be doing
You'll take ownership of mortgage enquiries from initial conversation through to completion, working closely with clients, lenders, introducers and professional partners.
- Residential and Buy-to-Let finance.
- Limited Company and portfolio landlord lending.
- Complex Buy-to-Let, HMOs and MUFBs.
- Complex residential and adverse credit cases.
- Second Charge mortgages.
- Bridging and development finance.
- Commercial and semi-commercial finance.
You'll also play an important role in developing introducer relationships, generating new business and building a strong pipeline of opportunities.
Who we're looking for
We're interested in speaking with someone who:
- Has experience in mortgages, property finance or specialist lending.
- Understands the mortgage process and how to assess, structure and progress applications.
- Is commercially ambitious, proactive and solutions focused.
- Builds strong relationships with clients, lenders and introducers.
- Can manage cases efficiently while maintaining excellent service and compliance standards.
- Understands that achieving the right customer outcome is just as important as completing the transaction.
CeMAP or an equivalent qualification is required, alongside experience in the broker role.
Experience in bridging, development finance or other specialist lending sectors is preferable but not essential.
