We are recruiting on behalf of an award-winning Bristol training provider for a Plumbing, Gas & Renewables Tutor & Assessor. This is a brilliant opportunity to come off the tools and build a long-term career helping apprentices succeed — small class sizes (up to 12 learners), high standards, and a real focus on quality.

The key requirement (non-negotiable):

  • Level 3 Plumbing & Heating qualification (or equivalent)

If you’re thinking “I don’t tick every box…” That’s okay — our client can support the right person:

  • Gas Safe lapsed but you’ve held it before? They can renew your registration.
  • New to education / coming off the tools? They’ll enrol you onto the Assessor qualification and PTLLS teaching qualification.

What does matter:

They need someone with a real interest in teaching and developing apprentices. This is not a “coast into retirement” role — it’s hands-on, structured, and you’ll be making a genuine impact. If you’ve mentored apprentices on site, coached juniors, or teach in another capacity (sport/coaching/training), you’ll fit well.

Role snapshot:

  • Bristol | Full-time on-site
  • 35 hours/week | Mon–Fri 08:00–16:00
  • Up to 4 days teaching + 1 day prep
  • Salary up to ÂŁ40,000 DOE
  • 33 days holiday + bank holidays (Christmas closure included)
