Overview
Job Role: Warehouse Order Picker
Location: Belfast
Pay Rate: Β£12.54 per hour day shift, Β£15.68 per hour night shift (from 6pm-6am)
Hours: 3 patterns available
- Mon-Fri 7am-330pm
- Mon-Fri 2pm-10pm
- Mon-Fri 6pm-2am
Blue Arrow have fantastic job opportunities for a number of Warehouse Order Pickers in the Edgewater Road area of Belfast, with three different shift pattern options this role would be suitable for many different candidates. There is also a bonus opportunity for qualifying workers of Β£500 based on attendance & performance.
Responsibilities
- Pick warehouse orders as necessary
- Pull warehouse items from the shelves based on number, size, colour, quantity, and quality requirements
- Ensure that orders are accurate
- Use a hand barcode scanner for some orders
- Pack and stage items correctly for delivery
- Oversee stock replenishment
- Maintain a high level of health and safety standards
- Operate handling equipment and ensure safety regulations are followed
- Perform other general warehouse duties as required
Qualifications
- Have previous experience as an Order Picker
- Be hardworking, enthusiastic, and reliable
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team
- Have good literacy and numeracy for accurate order
