SO - Race Relations and Integration - Policy Officer - BELFAST Pay Rate: Β£19.59 per hour Location: Belfast, Castle Buildings Start Date: ASAP Expected Duration: 31/03/2027 Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm Requirements: 5 GCSE'S C and Above (Including Maths and English). Applicants must hold a degree or an equivalent recognised qualification. Good knowledge of Microsoft office applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel). Good communication skills (oral and written) and ability to communicate accurately and effectively. Good drafting and note taking abilities to assist at meetings and preparing briefings/correspondence. Desirable: Knowledge of NICS systems including Content Manager, HR Connect, Account NI. Knowledge of NI Assembly and Ministerial process and procedures. Experience of analysing and interpreting information. Main Duties include: * Administrative role to support DP within the Race Relations and Integration Division. Role to include tasks such as: * First drafting of briefing for Ministers, senior officials as required. * First drafting of AQWs, AQOs and COR cases. * Facilitate (and in some cases represent TEO at) meetings, events, conferences as required. * Fact finding and information provision to DP and thus G7 to enable progression of work. * Engagement with officials in other departments to raise issues and seek information for draft documents. * Supporting general branch responsibilities, including planning, administration, and contributing to team outputs.
