Location: Castlereagh

Hourly rate: £17.85

Hours: 12-hour continental shift pattern - 2 days / 2 nights - Days: 07:30-19:30, Nights: 19:30-07:30 - 4 shifts on, 4 shifts off

Blue Arrow are recruiting for Quality Technician for our client in Castlereagh. The Quality Technician is an operational, factory-based role and an integral member of the shift team. The individual will be responsible for completing analytical and microbiological sampling, supporting quality investigations, ensuring compliance with quality systems, and acting as a key quality contact on shift.

Candidates will meet one of the following criteria:

  • Third-level qualification in Food Technology or a related discipline
  • A-Level (or equivalent) science qualification plus a minimum of two years' relevant manufacturing/quality experience
  • A minimum of five years' relevant experience in a bottling, canning, food production, or similar manufacturing environment

Candidates will have experience in:

  • Food production, FMCG, bottling, canning, pharmaceutical, or similar regulated manufacturing environments
  • Quality Assurance principles and quality management systems
  • HACCP and Food Safety
  • Analytical testing, sampling plans, and quality documentation
  • Root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities
  • Fast-paced manufacturing environments
  • Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
