What you will do
- Translate the director’s vision into coherent characters, sets, props, colour and lighting.
- Brief artists, review work and provide practical direction across the animation pipeline.
- Coordinate resources and deadlines with production while mentoring the design team.
What the studio is looking for
- Strong design judgment, colour/surfacing/lighting knowledge and department leadership experience.
- Understanding of animation pipelines and how designs translate into final 3D assets and shots.
- Clear communication, scheduling skills and proficiency with Photoshop or relevant design tools.
