Our Storyboard Artists above all have excellent narrative and drawing skills, and a clear grasp of staging, character and comedy. Our artists work with the director and supervisor closely to create dynamic and narrative driven boards successfully.

We are looking for this role to start in January 2026.

Day to Day:

  • Working with the Director and Supervisor to create coherent and finished storyboards.
  • Working with the writing team and Supervisor to inform the narrative and comedy of each episode.
  • Interpreting and applying comedic timing from the scripts effectively.
  • Maintaining consistency and perspective when drawing characters throughout all boards, staying on model.
  • Working alongside the project Directors to ensure fixes and feedback has been built-in into the boards.

About You

Must Have:

  • Excellent understanding of perspective.
  • Exceptional understanding of applying strong posing and character.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of PanelForge.
  • Knowledge of layout and composition.
  • A demonstrated and accomplished understanding of story and staging.
  • Ability to communicate emotive character and witty comedy throughout boards.
  • The ability to deliver on schedule, working calmly and efficiently under pressure
  • Previous production experience in the animation industry
