Our Short Form and Advertising Department creates high-quality, visually-striking animated content with a number of clients across a broad range of industries. Whether it's a social media campaign, TV advert or branded content, we work closely and collaboratively as a team to meet client's needs.
We're looking to welcome a CG supervisor with good Blender knowledge onto one of our new and exciting opportunities in the Short Form team. As the CG Supervisor, you will be a pivotal member of the team and responsible for the technical implementation of production to the Director's vision, providing leadership and guidance in the creation of all 3D components. The CG Supervisor will report directly to the Art Director for their creative vision and maintain regular communication with the Production management to plan resources and review schedules. The CG Supervisor will oversee and line manage the team leads across the production pipeline including sets, characters, texturing, rigging, finalising and FX.
This role is due to start soon (February/March 2026) on a short term fixed term contract (approx months' long). The successful candidate will preferably be based in the UK and if so, will require the right to work in the UK. If the successful candidate is based in the UK, they will be available to work in the Camden studio once a week.

Day to Day
- The quality control of 3D elements of the project, both aesthetically and technically.
- Identifying the aspects of production that need to be researched and developed in order to find the right creative and technical solutions.
- Designing and managing the pipeline from Asset Build through to final Lighting, and be able to liaise with the production manager/coordinators in managing and prioritising work for the 3D teams.
- Working in conjunction with the pipeline team to ensure the production has the required digital tools for artists to streamline workflow and communication.
- Be aware of the render capabilities of Blue Zoo and strive to reduce unneeded renders.
- During production, supervising the creation of all CG imagery and managing the artists creating it. Ensuring the art is true to the vision of the Art Director.
- Responsibilities stop after lighting is complete and all assets are given to the compositors.
- In charge of making own notes for reviews and uploading to the correct task on Ftrack.
Must Have
- A strong artistic eye, as well as a good understanding of the principles of composition.
- Extensive knowledge of the production pipeline.
- Background as a generalist to better understand other departments and efficiently communicate with them.
- Adept at using relevant programs such as Blender, Substance, Redshift, Cycles.
- Leadership to lead all relevant departments mentioned in production oversight breakdown.
- To problem solve and troubleshoot technical issues and resolving workflow inefficiencies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to provide clear and effective feedback.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, manage time efficiently and meet deadlines.
Bonus Points
- Knowledge of Programming and coding skills particularly Mel scripting and Python.
- Previous experience in high end Commercial Work.
