As the Blender Asset Supervisor on this brand new production, you will work closely with the Directors and Art Directors to define the scope of pre‑production and episodic assets. You will ensure the best show possible is produced with the given resources, schedule and budget. You’ll work closely with the directors to plan how to technically and creatively deliver what they and the client want.
This is a part time opportunity, working 2 days per week, starting June 2026.
Day To Day- Accountable for all assets and providing solutions to technical and creative problems.
- Work with Line Producers/Production Managers to plan realistic schedules for artists.
- Comprehensive understanding of the show and the storylines of every episode.
- Brief artists, delegate work and give guidance and support to junior artists/interns on best work practices.
- Ensure artists deliver consistent efficient models, textures, and shaders that fit into our pipeline and are of consistent quality.
- Assist the Art Directors with giving feedback on assets, focusing on the technical aspects and explain what is achievable.
- Communicate with other departments and understand how they work to find efficient ways to build assets that meet their needs.
- Feedback to the pipeline team on any asset related issues and suggest/advise on new asset related tools.
- Work with the Head of Productions, and People & Talent team to manage and mentor the team and interview potential candidates and contribute to hiring decisions.
- Mentoring and advising Leads on practical and artistic suggestions to problem solving and ensuring they feel supported in a leading role.
- Communicate regularly with Line Producers / Production Managers around resource challenges, including exploring additional resources and troubleshooting schedule delays.
- A proven record of asset leadership experience on animation productions, using Blender.
- Strong working knowledge of 3D software packages and pipelines.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- An experienced and honed creative eye.
- Knowledge of the entire production process.
- Able to successfully delegate, mentor and manage people and projects.
- Must have a sense of strong team dynamics and a positive leadership style.
- Ability and experience meeting demanding deadlines whilst retaining a high quality level of work.
