The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
Our modelling and texture artists are incredible world builders. They build the environments, props, characters and add the charming details that make our stories believable. They are always keen and constantly striving to improve their skills and assets. Your day-to-day will focus on creating detailed, stylised environment and prop assets based on informative concept designs, whilst meeting production deadlines.

Day to Day:- Creating 3D stylised environment, prop and/or character assets
- Effectively realising a 2D concept through to 3D, as well as being able to work with minimal design
- Creating clean UV maps and baking out texture maps for use in surfacing
- Producing render tests for the approval process
- Working within a team of modelling artists and regularly communicating between your Team Lead, Directors and Art Director
- Managing your assets and time efficiently to meet deadlines
- Responding positively, acting on notes and feedback from our Rigging Department, Asset Supervisor, CG Supervisor, Art Director and Directors
- Reporting to your Team Lead & Production Manager if there are any issues to flag that may affect the schedule
- Demonstrable experience of using Blender to a high level across all of these areas, ideally without the use of paid external addons; Modelling, Sculpting, UV Unwrapping, Texturing and Surfacing
- Interpreting volume and form when creating models from concept designs
- Demonstration of knowledge and understanding of clean topology practices, particularly when it comes to subdivision modelling
- Team player and great collaborator
- Creative eye with excellent problem solving skills
- Strong working knowledge of 3D software packages and pipelines
- Ability and experience meeting demanding deadlines whilst retaining a high quality level of work
- Knowledge of Proceduralism and experience Geometry Nodes within Blender
- Experience with using Python with Blender
- Knowledge of Substance Painter
- Knowledge of Substance Designer
