About The Role
Our Modelling artists are incredible world builders who create the environments, props and charming details that make our stories believable. They consistently strive to improve their skills and assets.
Location: Based in the UK, outside of the M25. Must have right to work in the UK. Start date: Approx mid June 2026.
Day to Day
- Modelling and UV mapping stylised environment and prop assets.
- Effectively realise a 2D concept through to 3D, with minimal design input.
- Provide UV Mapping and bake displacement maps for the Surfacing Department.
- Produce render tests for the approval process.
- Work within a team of modelling artists and regularly communicate with Team Lead, Directors and Art Director.
- Manage assets and time efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Respond positively, act on notes and feedback from Rigging Department, CG Supervisor, Art Director and Directors.
- Report to Team Lead and Production Manager any issues that could affect the schedule.
About You – Must Have
- Excellent animation production experience.
- Interpreting volume and form when creating models from concept designs.
- Working with modelling tools in Maya and ZBrush.
- Knowledge of clean topology.
- UV mapping with Maya or UVLayout.
- Knowledge of texturing assets using Substance Painter, Mari or Photoshop.
- Team player and great collaborator.
- Creative problem solving.
Bonus Points
- Knowledge of Substance Painter.
- Knowledge of Substance Designer.
- Experience mentoring Junior Modellers.
