About The Role
Blue Zoo has a worldwide reputation for expertly crafting characterful CG animation. We pride ourselves on creating work that everyone involved is immensely proud of, in a studio that cultivates friendship & creativity in a positive environment. Our internship programme runs every summer to give an opportunity to those seeking a “foot‑in‑the‑door” into the animation industry. It is ideal for students in their 2nd or 3rd year of university studying something creative, or talented individuals over the age of 18 who have a real passion for production. Candidates will have no previous industry experience, including unpaid internships or paid roles. Voluntary work experience should be stated clearly in your CV.
This full‑time, hybrid internship is located in our London studio in Camden; you will be required to be in the studio at least three days per week. Each intern will be paid the London Living Wage of £555 a week.
Day To Day
- Assisting with day‑to‑day production tasks as required by the Production Coordinator and Line Producer to ensure projects remain on schedule
- Supporting production with library management across multiple departments
- Maintaining project tracking tools
- Providing relevant data entry to assist the production team with the smooth running of the production
- Providing general administrative support to all members of the production team
- Taking notes for any necessary meetings

- Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
- Great team player
- Self‑motivated and able to work calmly under pressure
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency with GSuite
- Good IT skills
- Understanding of the animation pipeline is desirable
- Willing to take direction and constructive feedback
- A love for animation and a passion to learn more
