As a Motion Graphics Artist on a digital-first series, you will be responsible for working closely with the Director/Creative Producer on motion graphics creation, bringing them to life and delivering high-quality and innovative motion graphic content that combines both 3D and 2D motion graphics skills. This is a role for a creative individual with good aesthetic judgement and willingness to collaborate within a team environment. You will be an integral part of the creative process, designing artwork and bringing it to life.
Note: This is a very short contract, due to start mid/late May 2026. This vacancy can close early if we receive a high number of applicants.
Day To Day
- Develop creative and visually compelling motion graphics from artwork provided by the design team, while maintaining strong attention to detail to the brief.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in all aspects of motion graphic design, including typography, colour schemes, and visual effects.
- Utilise industry-standard software tools, such as Adobe After Effects and Photoshop, to design and animate graphics.
- Have a strong understanding of both 3D and 2D motion graphics skills in After Effects (either directly in After Effects or with plugins such as Cinema4D or Element3D).
- Attend meetings for briefs and reviews with relevant team members.
- Adapt to feedback and make necessary revisions and adjustments to motion graphics based on client or senior team members input.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, editors, and creative directors, to brainstorm ideas and concepts for motion graphic projects.
- Manage tasks, shots and processes efficiently to deliver quality work and meet deadlines.
About You Must Have
- Previous Animation production experience.
- Strong technical knowledge in creating motion graphics and animation in After Effects based on the briefs.
- Strong understanding of 3D techniques in After Effects.
- Strong sense of timing, pacing and visual appeal.
- Ability to adapt to different visual styles while maintaining cohesive direction across episodes.
- Able to receive feedback and respond well to direction.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of quality.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Creative problem solving skills.
