About the Role
The role involves working across Blue Zoo, Alphablocks, Numberblocks and new shows. Key responsibilities include optimising content for YouTube, executing a YouTube strategy, creating and publishing material to drive maximum views and engagement, and supporting a growing team. You will edit video content, create and optimise images and text, and publish content according to a YouTube schedule. Additional tasks include editing audio, video and image assets for the Apps team and creating assets for our digital music streaming platforms.
The role will report to the Lead Creative Producer and is part of a highly motivated, collaborative and creative growing team. The successful candidate must be based in the UK. Flexible, hybrid and remote working options are available.
Contract is a short‑term fixed term of 3 weeks beginning in November 2025.
Day To Day
- Editing, optimising and uploading fully optimised content to the YouTube channels, testing to improve.
- Creating motion graphics for use within multi‑platform video content.
- Writing and editing metadata and copy for videos.
- Recommending ways to improve channel performance and awareness to the Lead Creative Producer and Production Manager.
- Supporting the setup of language channels and carrying out edits and uploads for the language translation pipeline.
- Editing videos to publish the best content for the audience, ensuring quality and adherence to YouTube Kids’ guidelines.
- Staying on top of AVOD trends and competitor channels to keep edits competitive.
- Editing audio, video and image assets for Apps projects.
- Editing audio and image assets for our VOD platforms.
About You
Must Have
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Attention to detail and appreciation of brand integrity.
- Minimum of six months’ experience working on YouTube, with a good understanding of content optimisation.
- Experience with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Adobe Audition and Photoshop.
- A solid understanding of what makes content fun for children.
Bonus Points
- Experience working in children’s media.
- Understanding of COPPA and GDPR laws in creating content for children.
