About The Role
Are you passionate about technology and love building lasting relationships with people? As a Software Account Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our customer success story, helping clients get the most from our software, spotting opportunities to grow their business (and ours), and ensuring every interaction adds value. You’ll become a trusted advisor to our customers, guiding them through everything from onboarding and product demos to renewals and strategic planning. Responsibilities
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key clients, becoming their main point of contact and trusted partner
- Understand client goals and challenges, recommending tailored software solutions that drive real results
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to expand our footprint within existing accounts
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Support teams to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience
- Deliver engaging demos, webinars, and product walkthroughs that help clients see the value in our solutions
- Proactively monitor account health and step in early to resolve potential issues
- Manage contract renewals, negotiations, and strategic account plans
- Share client feedback and insights with the product team to help shape future releases
- Keep an eye on market trends and competitor offerings to stay ahead of the curve
Qualifications
- Experience in account management, customer success, or sales within software/SaaS (graduates with internship or placement experience welcome!)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, you love talking to people and helping them succeed
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a genuine interest in understanding customer needs
- Confidence in presenting, negotiating, and demonstrating software solutions
- Familiarity with CRM tools and managing a sales pipeline
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities
- Technical curiosity, you don’t need to code, but you should enjoy learning how software works and explaining it clearly
