Role Summary:

The Technical Architect is responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of robust, scalable, and secure technology solutions that align with business objectives. This role combines deep technical expertise with functional understanding to ensure systems meet both operational and strategic needs.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Proven techno-functional leadership of Blue Yonder WMS implementations: leading end-to-end technical implementation of the WMS solution and integrations from design to go-live; working closely with project manager, development teams and consulting team; providing input for status and planning.
  • Working with other internal teams like Development Services, Cloud, etc.
  • Define and maintain system architecture standards, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Technical hands-on experience with WMS (TMS, WLM, WCS, Warehouse Automation/Robotics strong plus) and integration needs within execution systems and host systems (ERP, Replenishment Planning, etc.).

Key Skills

  • Domain knowledge of Supply Chain organization.
  • Provide technical leadership in system integration, data governance, error handling and monitoring and overall architecture design.
  • Analytical Thinking.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Technical Expertise: system integration, SaaS/Cloud platforms, Programming fundamentals, PowerShell or sh, Python, SQL / PLSql, Snowflake is a plus.
  • Ability to write and do reverse engineering of the code.
  • Thorough knowledge of operating systems – Windows, Linux.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure is a plus.
  • Database maintenance skills: Oracle RDBMS, SQL Server, Basics of Database Administration, Principles of SQL Performance tuning.
  • Hands-on experience with integration tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of BY Platform and BYDM is a strong asset.

Leadership Skills

  • Support project planning, resource allocation, and risk management from a technical perspective.
  • Partner with project managers in planning efforts.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical designs.
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Educational Qualifications

IT, computer science and/or logistics related degree.

Communication

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to drive discussions on both functional processes and technical concepts in a language that can be understood across a diverse audience and multiple levels. Excellent English language skills both verbal and written. One or more language is a strong plus. Preferred German or French.

Miscellaneous

Mostly WFH. Occasionally travel to client site as per client demand. Willingness to participate in events taking place in the Company Office.
