£120,000 – £170,000 + equity

I\’m currently working with an amazing AI tech start up who are still in stealth, and heading towards Series B funding soon – Series A raised $6.5m. Their product documents and automates enterprise operations from data businesses already have, using a novel learning approach. The company is based on what the founders saw as the biggest bottleneck to getting AI to production.

They know that AI will never just \”get\” how a company works. The real challenge is teaching it – and old training methods won\’t cut it, which is where they come in

I\’m really looking for the top 5% of Product Engineers – the bar is high

What you\’ll do:

• Build and maintain Python and TypeScript code bases (They use FastAPI and NextJs)
• Design and implement features end-to-end, from UI to infrastructure to internal tooling
• Read, understand, and contribute to unfamiliar codebases
• Contribute the to direction and design of our product Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers and AI experts
• Continuously improve your skills and share knowledge with the team

You could be a fit if you:

• Are passionate about self-improvement and deliberate in how you grow
• Are an expert in something—anything—deep technical skill is more important than the domain
• Are comfortable with ambiguity and love solving open-ended problems
• Can jump into complex codebases and make meaningful changes
• Have a strong command of Python, TypeScript, or both (or are excited to learn)
• Enjoy collaborating, but are also happy working independently
• Have owned products from 0 –> 1
• Have architected backend and DB
• Have experience on frontend or infrastructure as code
• Worked in a startup for 2+ years and experienced building things from scratch

Bonus Points

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, etc.)
• Experience building APIs or distributed system
