Working nights in Sheffield. Shift: 10pm–6am, 4 on 2 off rota. Paid on a PAYE basis.
In this role, you will support the management team ensuring tasks are completed on time and to the required standard. As a supervisor, you will train new starters, complete return-to-work meetings with staff and address poor performance when required. This is a working supervisor role and will require you to complete cleaning tasks alongside your team.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the highest level of cleaning standard and safety, carrying out essential cleaning tasks including but not limited to:
- Managing a team of cleaning operatives to deliver a consistent standard
- Organising cover for holiday and absence – covering yourself when required
- Ordering stock
- Delivering training and toolbox talks
- Recording conversations with team members, assisting with return-to-work paperwork and note taking
- Completing site audits
- Ensuring all equipment is kept clean, well maintained & in working order. Completing check sheets for machinery and arranging repairs when needed.
- Enabling and assisting the team to deliver all the below as and when necessary:
- Damp wiping and dusting
- Vacuuming and mopping
- Jet washing
- High level cleaning (from ground level)
- Window cleaning
- Waste removal
- Litter picking
- Washroom cleaning
