We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a well-established construction business delivering high-quality projects across Somerset.

The role: As Senior Site Manager, you will oversee site operations from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include
- Managing daily site operations, subcontractors and direct labour
- Coordinating programmes, materials, logistics and site resources
- Monitoring progress against key project milestones
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance
- Conducting site inspections, inductions and progress meetings
- Working closely with commercial, design and project management teams
- Identifying and resolving site issues before they affect delivery
- Maintaining accurate site records, reports and documentation

About you
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or experienced Site Manager
- A strong background within the UK construction industry
- Experience managing projects from start to completion
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
- A thorough understanding of construction programmes and site processes
- Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements
SMSTS certification CSCS card First Aid at Work certification A full UK driving licence Additional qualifications such as NVQ Level 6 or 7 in Construction Management would be advantageous.
