The Opportunity We are seeking Assistant Site Managers in the local area to join our growing candidate network for current and upcoming construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of construction sites
- Help coordinate subcontractors, trades, materials and site logistics
- Monitor progress against programme deadlines
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and site presentation
- Assist with quality inspections, snagging and handovers
- Attend site meetings and provide progress updates
- Maintain accurate site records and documentation
- Help resolve operational issues efficiently
- Promote positive working relationships across the site team
About You You will ideally have
- Previous experience in an Assistant Site Manager, Site Supervisor or similar role
- A sound understanding of construction processes and site operations
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- The confidence to coordinate trades and manage competing priorities
- A proactive, practical approach to problem-solving
- Good knowledge of health and safety requirements
- The ability to work effectively as part of a busy site team
- A full UK driving licence, where required
Desirable Qualifications
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- CSCS card
- First Aid at Work
- Relevant construction management qualification, such as an NVQ, HNC or degree
- Open to all construction sectors
- Open to both freelance and permanent work
