Our client has secured a prestigious contract to construct a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in the Southwest of England. This landmark project forms a key part of the UK's green industrial transformation and represents one of the largest production facilities of its kind in the country.
The initial phase of the project includes the design and construction of a major manufacturing building, ancillary structures, and extensive site-wide external works. Our client is now seeking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team on this high-profile, long-term project.
The Role - Quantity Surveyor
- Be a recognised Quantity Surveyor with strong commercial awareness and a clear focus on profit and cash flow.
- Work collaboratively to input into work scope documents and support procurement of enabling work packages.
- Have previous experience working on Construction Management (CM) projects.
- Demonstrate experience across the full commercial lifecycle, including procurement, tendering, contract administration, variations, and management of subcontract work packages through to final account.
- Be proactive in minimising risk and cost while maximising value through cost checking and analysis of labour, plant, and materials.
- Bring broad construction industry experience gained within main contracting organisations across multiple sectors.
Your Profile
- Proven experience on large-scale, major projects within a Construction Management environment.
- Strong strategic mindset, with the ability to interpret internal and external data and apply sound commercial judgement.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline.
