This is an excellent opportunity to get involved with major projects for this innovative business who supply high quality products to prestigious UK retailers. A front runner in their sector, they are now seeking a Development Chef to join them.
In this fast-paced and creative role you will be given the chance to apply your culinary skills supporting the Development team in the creation of exciting new product ranges. Working on their retail accounts, you will be able to focus on creating inspiring new concepts that capitalise on your expertise and market knowledge to ensure innovative products are in line with the latest food trends as well as customer budgets and launch timescales.
You will also help with the day to day running of the NPD function from working with suppliers, organising ingredients and improving recipes to making samples for presentations and participating in taste panels. In addition, you’ll be using your commercial acumen and culinary insights to spot new trends and identify key areas for potential innovation and growth.
Part of your responsibilities will also include contributing to feasibility and critical path meetings for your accounts to ensure all stakeholders have visibility on all active projects and products being presented to your customer.
We are looking for a highly creative and organised Development Chef who is passionate about their food. Having gained food manufacturing experience, and created products for major UK retailers, you will live and breathe food, and enjoy applying your culinary prowess to delicious, on trend concepts.
Due to the site’s remote location, we’re looking for candidates who have a full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle.
