This leading food manufacturer is renowned for offering premium, high-quality ambient products across the foodservice sector. As part of their ongoing success, they are looking for a talented and strategic Trade Marketing Manager to join their team.

This is a hybrid role.

The Role

Reporting into the Head of Channel Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s marketing initiatives. Your main responsibility will be to develop high-quality trade marketing materials that effectively showcase the unique value of their delicious products. This includes creating sales literature, product brochures, trade presentations, and overseeing product launches.

In addition, you will collaborate closely with various departments, including sales, category management, and global marketing teams, to ensure all materials are aligned with the company’s brand strategy and objectives. Your ability to design and produce trade presentations will be key in supporting the sales team to engage with customers and drive product listings.

Another core aspect of the role will be conducting market and competitor analysis, ensuring that all marketing materials remain competitive and relevant in the marketplace. You will also take charge of coordinating product launches, developing promotional materials, and executing impactful trade promotions in close collaboration with the sales teams.

Finally, managing the UK website will be a significant part of your responsibilities, ensuring it remains up to date with new products and is aligned with the global digital strategy.

The Person

You will have a proven track record in B2B marketing, ideally within the food, FMCG, or ambient sector, with strong experience in designing marketing materials, executing product launches, and creating impactful trade presentations. Additionally, you will bring several years of experience in trade marketing, offering a deep understanding of the foodservice sector and customer dynamics.

Proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint, along with experience in CRM systems, is essential for the role. You will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to create compelling marketing materials that effectively resonate with your target audience.

Strong organizational skills are critical to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient execution. Furthermore, a team-oriented approach is key, as you will collaborate across departments, including sales, product development, and marketing teams, to ensure that all strategies are aligned and executed effectively.
