They are now looking for an experienced Supply / Production Planner to join their brilliant Operations team.
The Role
Reporting to the Planning & Production Lead, you will work closely with manufacturing partners, suppliers and internal teams to ensure inventory management is optimised throughout the supply chain. Working cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Sales and Marketing, you will gain broad exposure across the business while playing a key role in supporting its rapid growth.
You will collaborate with production sites and suppliers to forecast demand, plan productions and schedule raw material purchases in line with target stock parameters. Alongside day-to-day planning, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives, including supplier tenders, packaging updates and logistics optimisation projects, focusing on strengthening operational resilience.
You will also support with financial planning and stock valuation, ensuring MRP systems & physical stock aligns and are accurately reflected in cash flow projections or purchasing forecasting.
The Candidate
We are looking for a detail-focused and solutions-driven Supply / Production Planner with 4+ years’ experience in a planning role, ideally within FMCG.
You will have strong analytical capability, excellent Excel skills and experience working with ERP or MRP systems. A natural problem solver, you will be passionate about process improvement and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Alongside a proven ability to manage inventory and production planning, you will have experience working with external suppliers and manufacturers, understanding the importance of strong relationship management and collaboration. Commercial awareness and the ability to balance cost, service and efficiency are essential.
You will be confident, organised and proactive, with the ability to see the bigger picture while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Previous experience within a start-up, challenger or high-growth SME brand would enable you to thrive in this role.
