The Company

With new sustainable packaging and a recent expansion of their frozen range, the business is experiencing phenomenal growth. They are now looking for a tenacious and proactive Supply Chain Manager to help take the business to the next level.
The Role
Reporting in to the Head of Supply Chain, you will ensure that the day-to-day running is smooth and effective. Working closely with the commercial team, you'll co-ordinate the demand forecast and production planning, taking into account retailer needs and manufacturing partner capabilities. You will ensure inventory is managed and aligns with internal systems, ordering stock as and where required to mitigate waste and risk.
The relationships you build and maintain with suppliers, manufacturers and partners will be vital in securing continuous supply. You will navigate any challenges that may arise within the supply base, analysing and investigating to resolve any distribution or availability issues and ensure best-in-class service to customers.
Continuous improvement is another key part of this role, and you will identify opportunities for improved efficiencies in the supply chain and ways of working with suppliers and manufacturers. You will support with developing sustainable solutions for new channels and or products, and will lead execution stages of gated development processes to enable NPD and EPD projects to be launched successfully.
The Candidate
We are looking for a motivated and confident Supply Chain Manager with 4+ years of experience in supply chain within food manufacturing or retail FMCG. You will be a self-starter, comfortable working on your own initiative as well as being hands-on and collaborative as part of a team. With a strong continuous improvement mindset, you will be commercially minded and analytical, able to manipulate data with ease with your excellent Excel abilities. You'll have great attention to detail and exceptional time management, able to work at pace and be flexible around evolving company priorities. Experience with chilled products and UK retailers will aid with your success in this role.
