They are now seeking a driven, ambitious Quality & Process Manager who is ready to challenge the status quo, raise the bar, and play a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of technical excellence.
Reporting to the Head of Technical & Sustainability, you will be the driving force behind product quality, food safety, and compliance across the manufacturing site. This is a role for someone who is not just technically strong, but commercially aware, influential, and energised by making things better every day. You’ll work closely with Operations, Technical, and cross‑functional teams to ensure systems are robust, standards are upheld, and the site is always audit‑ready. Your experience in BRC, customer audits, and working with major retailers will be essential in elevating site performance and supporting the business through its next stage of growth. This role suits someone who is proactive, confident, and ready to lead with pace and purpose.
You will:
- Partner with Operations to ensure all products consistently meet food safety, legal, and quality requirements
- Lead, coach, and develop the Quality team, building a culture of accountability, ambition, and high performance
- Strengthen and continuously improve site quality systems, procedures, and technical processes
- Take full ownership of audit readiness, ensuring the site excels in BRC and customer audits
- Act as a key decision‑maker on quality and food safety, providing clear, confident guidance
- Oversee and enhance internal audit programmes including GMP, hygiene, fabrication, and traceability

- Play an active role within the HACCP team, ensuring verification and compliance of all critical controls
- Ensure consistent product assessment and release processes, protecting product integrity

They will already have a solid grounding in food manufacturing, with hands‑on experience of BRC, internal auditing, and working with major retailers. They understand what good looks like, but more importantly, they have the ambition and confidence to push for better. This is someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, who isn’t afraid to challenge constructively, and who brings energy, curiosity, and a continuous improvement mindset to everything they do.
They will be a natural leader who inspires their team, builds strong relationships across Operations and Technical, and communicates with clarity and conviction. Detail‑driven yet commercially aware, they balance high standards with practical decision‑making and a willingness to roll up their sleeves. Above all, they are dynamic, proactive, and motivated by the opportunity to elevate quality, strengthen systems, and shape a best‑in‑class technical function as the business continues to grow.
