Finance Executive in London

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will oversee the financial operation of the UK & European businesses. You will be responsible for:

•Overseeing and reconciling the Sales ledger, Purchase ledger and Nominal leger on a monthly basis

• Process and schedule payments to suppliers across various currencies and regions

• Regular reconciliation of bank, credit card, and payment accounts in SAGE 200

• Assist with multi-currency transactions and ensure correct exchange rates and FX handling

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for internal reporting and compliance

• Liaise with GM & Leadership Team to support month-end close, tax filings, and other reporting needs

• Help refine finance processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency or accuracy

• Lead and support finance junior team members (2 members), promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

This role will suit an experienced Finance Executive who has worked within FMCG, manufacturing or distribution for at least 5 years.

In this role, strong communication skills are essential, both written and verbal. You’ll need to have strong commercial awareness and analytical skills and be highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring all deadlines are met. Your ability to work flexibly and support your team will be crucial. Knowledge and experience of using SAGE 200 is a must.
