The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.

You will work as part of an inspiring team where you will be exposed to all aspects of new product development, supporting the creation of new recipe ideas and translating these into market leading products with that real 'wow' factor. You will assist the Senior Development Chef throughout the innovation process, undertaking key tasks such as sample making, sourcing ingredients, updating costing systems and preparing customer briefs and presentations.

In addition, you will ensure the smooth handover of products from kitchen to factory to guarantee projects reach their required deadlines. You will also develop your culinary expertise and industry knowledge through keeping up with the latest food trends, using your skills to contribute to the development of new products whilst revitalising existing ranges to keep up with consumer tastes.

We are looking for a highly creative and positive development chef who is passionate about their food. Ideally, you will be brimming with enthusiasm and ideas, friendly and approachable with a real can-do attitude. You will have an extensive personal knowledge of ingredients and flavour combinations, able to bring new twists to recipes and a vast back-catalogue of interesting ingredient sources.

Ideally, you will have food manufacturing experience and where you have developed successful products for either a food retailer or one of the major multiples. Adaptable and flexible, you will be able to keep up the pace with projects as they evolve, accepting product tweaks and changes with gusto. Your organisation and presentation skills will be second to none; which you will put to use by working as part of a large team.
