Overview

PA needed for 6 hours per week on weekends to support a young teen in the community. The role helps the client gain independent living skills and participate in activities he enjoys, including day trips and cooking.

Responsibilities

  • Support the client in the community and during activities and hobbies
  • Assist with independent living skills and cooking, including shopping for ingredients and meal preparation
  • Facilitate outdoor activities and day trips (the PA will be a driver to enable participation)

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Experience with Autism and ADHD awareness
  • Epilepsy awareness and experience with rescue medication training
  • Full DBS check or willingness to obtain one
  • Valid driving license and ability to drive for activities

About me

I’m a teenager who loves construction sites and diggers, Alton Towers and roller coasters. I enjoy building Lego and creating. I am taking an interest in cooking, so the PA will need to support me with this. I also enjoy playing my Nintendo Switch.

Hours and Pay

  • Hours per week: 6 hours – weekends
  • Rate of pay: £13.00 per hour employed / £15.60 per hour self employed
