Here at Blue Skies Education we are excited to be recruiting for a special education school for SEMH and ASC students to start in September 2025.
Are you a graduate in psychology or criminology? Are you looking to build invaluable skills for your future aspirations in psychology, psychotherapy or working with young people? Do you need some experience to help you decide which path you wish to go down?
This position offers a great oppotunity to add to you portfolio by working with young people who present mental health profiles, neuro-diversity and challenging behviours. If you want to mentor, support and inspire young people in education this could be the perfect job for you.
The students at this provision attend here as the mainstream education setting is not quite suitable for their needs. They benefit from smaller class sizes, a specialist curriulum, bespoke structure with understanding teachers and mentors so that they engage and thrive during their every day school life.
This is not just a job, it offers the ability change the future of young people who may come from trauma or adverse childhood experiences. They may have anxiety, depression or PTSD. They may be involved in criminal activities outside of school. Understanding is key. Being emotionally available is key.
