Redbridge-based secondary school is seeking an experienced and passionate SENCo to lead and develop outstanding SEND provision across the campus. This role offers a highly motivated, qualified SENCo the chance to work alongside an experienced leadership team, ensuring every learner receives the support, guidance and teaching they need to thrive.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee the identification, support and progress of students with SEND.
  • Lead the strategic development of inclusive teaching and learning.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to implement personalised strategies.
  • Coordinate targeted interventions and multi‐agency support.
  • Ensure statutory responsibilities and EHC Plan processes are fully met.

About you

You will hold Qualified Teacher Status and the National Award for SEN Coordination, with proven experience of leading SEND in a secondary context. You will have a deep understanding of inclusion, safeguarding, and the SEND Code of Practice, as well as strong communication and leadership skills.
