Blue Skies Education are working with a school based in North London to recruit a behaviour mentor to work at a primary school age provision. The children at the provision have documented special education needs and/or disabilities, ranging from neuro-diverse conditions such as autism or ADHD to challenging behaviour profiles and early signs of social and emotional mental health. The age range is 5-11 years, and the successful behaviour mentor will work 1:1 or within small groups throughout the school day.
What we are looking for:
- Graduates of psychology, criminology or an education based degree
- Previous experience working with young people is ideal but not imperative for the right candidate
- Calm and composed personality who can remain as such in situations where children demonstrate challenging behaviour
- Inspirational mentor to children, helping them to enjoy their daily school experience
- Sound knowledge of Keeping Children Safe in Education (we can help you here!)
- Natural instinct to keep children safe
- Reliable and conscientious — this job offers amazing experience but comes with huge responsibility

Vacancy Details:
- Hours: 32.5 hrs per week, day shifts over Mon to Fri (term time only)
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: Indefinite, could become permanent
- Location: Enfield
- Pay: £14-£15 per hour (PAYE)
