Key Responsibilities
  • Role modelling hospitality to our guests and team members.
  • This leader will take over the hospitality and guest service role.
  • Communicating and connecting with guests to ensure satisfaction at an exceptional level.
  • Implement initiatives to increase sales and increase profit.
  • Building systems for your restaurant to apply to your sales and profitability goals.
  • Controlling the hiring process, including conducting interviews, onboarding, and training for multiple positions.
  • Hiring/promoting and training young and inspiring new managers coming into the system; making tough decisions to build a well-rounded management team.
  • Assist in developing Assistant Managers and Supervisors every day.
  • Strong overlap into the kitchen and supporting the Chefs and Sous Chefs.
  • Accountability of the P & L - daily, weekly and monthly.
  • Mentoring the kitchen team and their profitability.
  • Handling GM duties when he/she is not present.
  • Leading the day-to-day operations under the mentorship of the Senior GM.
  • Responsible for the profitability of the restaurant from every aspect.
  • Tooling and retooling the guest service experience - ensuring the wow experience every time.
  • Building business plans and executing with your leadership teams.
  • Understand the ebbs and flows of the restaurant and managing them well.
  • Ensuring the guest service experience is 2nd to none every day.
  • The GM and Chef are the face of the business in the community - you will be an important piece as the GM in training!
Key Requirements
  • 3+ years of Leadership experience in full-service restaurants or bars as a Manager at all levels.
  • Proven leadership skills: desire to develop and motivate the people around you to always be their best.
  • Energetic and positive.
