Blue Ridge Beverage Company, Inc., a leading distributor of beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages in Central and Southwest Virginia, is looking for a full-time Office Administrator to help grow our business. The Office Administrator supports company operations by providing administrative and accounting support in the division.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Route reconciliation and accounting (AP/AR Invoices, Sales Reports, etc.). Training available for the right person.
  • Ensure successful processing of supplier and freight claims, purchase orders, filing of daily charges, accounts receivable and inventory costing.
  • Maintain and update all financial and filing systems; balance delivery routes in the Route Accounting System (RAS).
  • Prepare daily reports and spreadsheets; create files to balance delivery routes in the RAS.
  • Maintain and update sales and delivery route schedules and licensing information in the RAS.
  • Settle and balance invoices from sales and delivery routes; assist with inventory costing and month-end reconciliations.
  • Assist in collections of customer and supplier receivables.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent; one year of administrative experience; strong communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities; capable of prioritizing and pivoting across projects.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with integrity and collaborate across levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous success in an administrative or purchasing role.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains).

  • Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
