Senior FX Dealer in Tring

Blue Recruitment Personnel is recruiting for an experienced Senior FX Dealer to join an established and growing foreign exchange business in Tring.

This permanent, office-based opportunity offers a basic salary of £30,000 per year, alongside an uncapped commission structure for a commercially driven foreign exchange professional.

The Role:

This is a varied 360-degree foreign exchange position combining new-business development, client relationship management and the accurate execution of foreign exchange transactions.

You will develop and manage your own portfolio of corporate and private clients, identifying currency requirements and delivering a high-quality, compliant service from initial contact through to repeat business.

You will operate in a target-focused environment, using your market knowledge and relationship-building ability to develop long-term client partnerships and grow revenue.

Shift Pattern:

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• Office-based in the Tring area, with flexibility in line with business needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective corporate and private foreign exchange clients
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted research, outbound activity, networking and referrals
• Meet prospective clients to understand their international payment and currency requirements
• Develop trusted, long-term relationships that generate repeat business and client referrals
• Manage the client journey from initial engagement through onboarding and ongoing account management
• Complete client onboarding processes, including required compliance, due diligence and record checks
• Execute foreign exchange trades accurately, efficiently and in line with internal procedures
• Provide relevant market updates and currency insight to help clients make informed decisions
• Monitor currency-market movements and identify opportunities to deliver value for clients and the business
• Keep client records, activity notes and transaction information accurate and up to date
• Work to agreed sales, revenue and activity targets
• Provide support, knowledge and guidance to junior team members where appropriate

Requirements:

• At least two years’ experience in foreign exchange sales, dealing, business development or a closely related financial-services environment
• Proven success in building and managing client relationships
• Experience developing new business through proactive sales activity and lead generation
• Strong commercial awareness and the confidence to work in a target-driven environment
• Good understanding of foreign exchange products, currency markets and the client dealing process
• Ability to manage a sales pipeline and prioritise opportunities effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship-building ability
• High level of accuracy, organisation and attention to detail
• Professional approach to compliance, client due diligence and administration
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a close-knit team

Suitable Experience:

This role would suit a Senior FX Dealer, FX Sales Executive, Corporate FX Dealer, Foreign Exchange Account Manager, Currency Broker or Business Development Manager with direct foreign exchange experience.

You will be motivated by winning new clients, retaining valuable accounts and growing a commercially successful portfolio.
