HGV Class 1 Driver - Bognor Regis/ West Sussex (JB-69)
Blue Recruitment Personnel are currently booking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for immediate starts on chilled and temperature-controlled supermarket contracts in the Bognor Regis area.
The role:
You will be carrying out refrigerated, temperature-controlled deliveries to major supermarket distribution centres across the UK.
Work is available across day shifts, night shifts and tramping, with flexible options to suit full-time, part-time and weekend-only drivers.
Deliveries are mostly straightforward RDC work, with minimal handball, although some unloading and pallet splitting may be required at delivery points.
Pay and benefits:
- Day shifts from £16.50 per hour.
- Night shifts from £18.50 per hour.
- Tramping from £17.50 per hour.
- £45 night-out allowance for tramping drivers.

Key responsibilities:
- Carry out safe and timely RDC deliveries.
- Transport refrigerated and temperature-controlled goods.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
- Follow UK driving laws, company procedures and site rules.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
- Maximum 9 points on licence, with no DR, DD, CD or TT endorsements due to insurance requirements.
- Good knowledge of drivers’ hours, working time regulations and tachograph rules.
- Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work.
