About Us
Blue Precision Technologies (BPT) is a fast-growing IT consultancy and automation specialist. We help organisations streamline operations, integrate systems, and run more efficiently using modern no-code and low-code platforms such as Make and Smartsheet, alongside enterprise platforms and managed services. We work with customers ranging from small businesses to global enterprises across multiple sectors. As recognised partners of leading automation and data centre solution providers, we’re known for high-quality delivery, strong technical standards, and long-term client relationships.
About the Role
We’re hiring a Systems Engineer to support the delivery and ongoing operation of technical solutions across automation, integration, enterprise platforms, and managed service contracts. This is a hands-on engineering role ideal for someone early in their technical career who wants broad exposure to real client environments. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and delivery leads, contributing to implementations, troubleshooting, documentation, and customer support. As you develop your technical capability and delivery confidence, you’ll take on increasing responsibility, with clear opportunities to progress into more senior engineering and consulting roles over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the build, configuration, testing, and maintenance of automation workflows and integrations.
- Assist with enterprise platform implementations and managed service support (Level 1 & 2).
- Troubleshoot technical issues across automations, platforms, and integrations.
- Attend customer sites to support delivery activities, including hardware validation and data collection.
- Participate in client meetings, support calls, and demonstrations alongside senior engineers.
- Produce clear, accurate documentation to support delivery, handover, and ongoing support.
- Track time accurately and follow defined delivery processes and specifications.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and technically curious — someone who enjoys hands-on engineering work and takes pride in delivering things properly. You don’t need to know everything on day one, but you must be comfortable following specifications, asking questions when things are unclear, and escalating early to protect delivery quality and customer confidence.
Essential skills include:
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- A structured, professional approach to technical delivery.
- Ability to follow defined specifications accurately.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and work within delivery guidance.
Desirable (but not essential):
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or similar.
- Experience with No-Code / Low-Code tools (e.g. Make, Smartsheet).
- Understanding of APIs, databases, SQL, and data formats (JSON / CSV).
- Experience with virtual machines or enterprise platforms.
- Basic scripting or programming experience (e.g. Python, PowerShell).
- Exposure to managed service or customer-facing technical environments.
Why Join Us?
- Hands-on experience with modern automation and enterprise platforms.
- Work on real client environments from day one.
- Clear progression and development opportunities.
- Supportive, high-trust team with strong technical standards.
- Exposure to a wide range of industries, tools, and technologies.
- Training, certifications, and continuous learning opportunities.
- Hybrid working with flexibility depending on delivery needs.
