Following an internal restructure, we are seeking a proactive Production & Logistics Manager to oversee the seamless execution of logistical and production activities across all sites. You will lead the department in maintaining regulatory compliance, optimizing plant throughput, and managing key relationships.
We are looking for a Logistics and Planning Manager who will report to the Commercial Manager.
- Compliance & Documentation: Oversee the accuracy of all incoming/outgoing load documentation to ensure 100% compliance with E.A. waste regulations, permit requirements, and UK/EU customs.
- Operational Planning: Coordinate vehicle scheduling to ensure efficient processing plant flow and organized loading and unloading.
- Team Leadership: Manage the logistics team, including performance management, HR duties and support team development.
- Contract & Data Management: Maintain internal systems and spreadsheets with precision, ensuring all contract data and inter-departmental information is up to date.
- Supply Chain Liaison: Manage relationships with external suppliers, customers, and transport providers to ensure high service levels and cost-competitive freight solutions.
Proven experience in transport management, production planning. A strong understanding of waste transfer procedures and experience within the waste industry (highly preferred). Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook.
Salary range will be £45-50K dependent on experience + benefits package. We are committed to diversity and inclusivity in our hiring practices.
