THE OPPORTUNITY
Joining this successful independent agency group, led by several impressive senior leaders from big agency networks such as WPP, Omnicom and Publicis, youβll experience less politics, a slicker and more decisive culture, as well as reams of opportunity to carve your own career path as this data function embarks on an ambitious journey of growth.
You will work in partnership with the Head of Data Strategy, to devise and deliver insight and data led solutions for end clients, around personalisation, CRM targeting, measurement and optimisation across multichannel marketing (including digital media).
Building out data roadmaps to optimise media analytics and marketing effectiveness, test and learn frameworks and conducting customer and marketing analysis to figure out how to improve personalisation and campaign ROI will all be part of your day to day. As well as building out reporting processes and developing campaign targeting plans.
You will be an expert in demonstrating what data and analytics can be used within a modern marketing ecosystem. Combining with martech capabilities to create powerful customer journeys, personalisations, data signals, cross channel interactions and connected journeys. How it can be measured and optimised to continuously drive improvements and enhancements to results.
You will then take those insights and turn it into compelling stories to present back to clients.
The CDO has ambitious plans to step change the delivery of the entire data function. Bringing it in line with modern data science environments, creating a global centre for innovation. So, you have a rare opportunity to join at a time where these changes are taking shape.
Although this agency network can brag about some big-name clients in their portfolio, they are actually also well embedded with the SME market, working in partnership with businesses who rely on them, who are deeply invested in the solutions they create and deliver.
THE PERSON
You will be the champion and expert for data insights informing business decisions across a range of clients within FMCG, Pharma, Public Sector and Automotive industries. Working closely with them to optimise marketing performance and customer engagement through enhanced data strategies.
You should be a self-starter, full of enthusiasm and highly collaborative with the ability to share in the overall vision for the group β a chance to really shine and be a key influence in the direction data strategy takes as an offering.
Skills and experience required:
- Numerical background with a solid analytical pedigree underpinned by academic record
- A solid background in marketing and media analytics, coupled with CRM data and analysis skills
- Skilled in building out robust test and learn frameworks to measure marketing activity and media effectiveness
- Good understanding of data strategy within a marketing environment
- Have a background which includes some agency side experience, and have experience guiding and influencing client thinking and decision making in the strategic use of data
- Passionate about the use of data for improved marketing performance and better customer understanding and engagement
- Strong grounding in CRM is essential, as the bulk of the current work comes through their CRM agency, where this role will initially sit
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and how this plays into CRM and personalisation
- Ideally experience of working in a media led environment, or at least understanding of how to drive and measure digital advertising activity
