My client is seeking an experienced Probate Paralegal to join their team based in Tunbridge Wells. You will be working to support the partner and solicitors in the Private Client team on probate matters.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with estate administration from start to finish
- Drafting legal documents, including letters of administration and inheritance tax forms
- Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, HMRC & financial institutions
- Conducting legal research on relevant case law, and regulations relating to private client matters
- Managing deadlines and maintaining accurate records
About you
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a paralegal within a private client department
- Strong knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and documentation related to private client
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask, prioritise assignments, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work
- Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
