We are looking to appoint a PPC Manager to help evolve the paid search capability of a high-profile consumer-facing business, which operates in a fast-paced dynamic trading environment.
On paper, the role talks about ownership, scale and big budget responsibility (in the millions) covering multiple product lines. In reality, it's a genuine step-up opportunity. However, they are not expecting a finished PPC leader to step into this role, but someone who is on that journey to hopefully become one - and who will see the potential through the scale of this opportunity to help you get there. This is more positioned at an experienced Senior Executive who's ready to take that next step and grow into a broader, more strategic remit over time.
You’ll be working closely and be coached by a highly experienced and decorated Head of Search Marketing, someone who themselves has been recognised by Google as one of the top players within this space. Gaining exposure to large-scale budgets, advanced bidding strategies and cross-channel planning, while gradually building out your own ownership in the role.
The company you’ll be doing this for is a big brand within the hospitality and leisure industry. They’re recognised for handling campaigns in-house, which is why being technically astute and competent with platforms like SA360 will be important to your success in this role.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the planning, management and optimisation of PPC campaigns across Google and Microsoft Ads
- Working with a range of campaign types including Performance Max and AI Max, automated bidding strategies focused on ROAS
- Analysing performance data and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and scale
- Managing budgets across daily, weekly and quarterly cycles, ensuring strong control and reporting
- Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to align PPC activity with wider marketing objectives
- Presenting performance insights in a clear, commercially meaningful way
What they’re looking for:
- Solid grounding in PPC, ideally from a Senior Executive or equivalent role - either agency or end brand side
- Must have hands-on experience across Google Ads (and ideally Microsoft Ads), including campaign optimisation and bid strategies, and good knowledge of working with SA360
- Strong analytical capability, comfortable working with data and translating it into action
- Confidence working with spreadsheets, dashboards and tools such as Google Analytics
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Someone who wants to step up, take on more ownership, and grow into a management-level position
Why this role?
- Clear progression path into a more senior, strategic PPC leadership role
- Exposure to large budgets and complex campaign structures early in your development
- Support from an experienced leader who will actively help you grow
- A business that invests in learning, development and long-term career pathways
Package:
- £45,000 base salary
- 15% bonus
- Pension and life assurance
- Discount platform covering holidays, utilities, retail and more
- EV car scheme
- Additional lifestyle and wellbeing benefits
