We’re partnering with a fast-expanding accountancy practice with a strong presence across the Midlands and they’re looking for a confident, detail-driven Payroll Bureau Assistant to join their friendly and collaborative team. If you enjoy variety, responsibility, and being the go-to expert for clients… this is one for you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing weekly, fortnightly & monthly payrolls end-to-end
- Working daily with BrightPay & BrightPay Connect
- Handling auto-enrolment & workplace pensions
- Submitting RTI returns, P45s, P60s & P11Ds
- Keeping payroll records accurate, compliant, and audit-ready
- Acting as a trusted point of contact for clients via phone & email
- Staying ahead of ever-changing payroll & tax legislation
- Ensuring deadlines are met efficiently and accurately.

- Proven experience in a payroll bureau or accountancy practice (essential)
- Strong working knowledge of BrightPay & BrightPay Connect (essential)
- Solid understanding of payroll legislation & compliance
